Freezing / Unfreezing Cards

Freezing a card will stop all transactions from taking place from your card. You can freeze your own card if you’d like to prevent it from being used or, as an account or card admin, freeze the card of one of your employees.

Please note that your team members can also complete the actions below at any time in their Zena account.

Freezing Your Card

You can freeze your card at any time by following the steps below.

  1. Log in to your Zena account and navigate to either Business Spend or the Project associated with the virtual card.

Remember that all physical corporate cards are located within Business Spend.

  1. Find the card you'd like to freeze and use the menu on the top right-hand side of the card image to select Freeze/Unfreeze card.

Selecting this action means that all purchases going forward will be declined if anyone attempts to use the card. Unfreezing the card will immediately undo this action so that purchases can occur again.
