Zena Card Application Process

Getting started with Zena involves a straightforward application process. This guide will outline the necessary steps and information and explain each requirement's purposes.

We follow the same guidelines as required by the most strict financial regulations and guidelines. Opening up a Zena account requires information similar to a business credit card or checking account.

Zena is only available for United States applicants.

Applying for the Zena will not impact your personal credit score in any way.

Business Information

On the first page of the application we'll ask for your business information. This will help us ensure that you are a legitimate business and helps to prevent bad actors from opening up accounts under businesses that they are not associated with.

Officer Information

The officer information on your application will be the information of the owner of the business or whomever the LLC information is registered under.

Individual Information

Your information will include your name, date of birth, nationality, and social security number. This information will verify your identity as part of our Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements for account creation.

It's essential to ensure this information is correct.

  • Occupation

    • Since 'Interior Design' isn't directly listed under occupations, please choose 'Architect or Engineer' as the nearest equivalent for your application.

  • Identification

    • Photo identification is integral to our Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures for establishing your account. If your account is marked as pending, we may ask you to provide additional documentation to verify your identity.

  • Social Security Number or Card

    • In line with U.S. Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, your social security number will be required during the application process, particularly if you're applying as a sole proprietor.

Application Status

Once your application is complete, you'll be met with an application status of either:

  • Approved: Once your account has been fully approved, you can start using it immediately.
  • Pending: Your application is under review. Once our evaluation is complete, it will change to approved or denied.
  • Denied: If your application fails to meet our criteria, it will be rejected.
